Domestic Short Hair - White - Spice'hurricane Cat' - Small
A few weeks ago, just around the time of Hurricane Sandy, Spice was rescued from Animal Care and Control. Chances are she would have moved on to the next world within just a day or two. The shelter was overcrowded, and room was needed for lost, homeless and abandoned pets. We decided to make her a Westchester kitty and help her start a new life with her daughter, Betty.
Spice is no ordinary cat! We're so proud of our new resident and how quickly she has adapted to her temporary home. She is gorgeous, and gets lots of attention, but she's not vain at all! She is affectionate, curious and good-natured, and is attentive is to every sound and movement. Her world has turned upside down, but she is trying to make sense of it. Certainly no "downer", she's happy and has lots going for her; friendly, outgoing, gentle and sweet. Sure, she's the kind of cat that makes everyone say "oh, she'll get adopted in no time" but this is a dog-eat-dog world! She is okay with cats, but really prefers humans. She'll nicely adapt to any environment but she wants to get the ball rolling! Please come and let her show you her stuff. Leave with a little Spice of your own!
