Jewel has had a rough life. She appears to be nearly blind, and yet managed to take care of herself and her kitten. My guess is that there were probably more kittens, but poor Jewel could barely take care of herself, never mind a litter of needy babies. Jewel's kitten has been adopted, and now mom needs to find someone that will love and cherish this very special girl.
Don't feel sorry for this little one! She is a happy, sweet, docile kitty that loves petting and will arch her back quickly in response to loving touches and kind words. She does well in the jumping department too! She likes to be in high places, although this could be due in part to a need for a little "space" from some of our "big-boy" cats. We are extremely full right now and our cats must adjust to many, many cats in our communal rooms.
Jewel is a wonderful cat that will bring love into any home.
